We measure high voltage for you
using instrument transformers for both outdoor and indoor applications, special transformers, sensors and power transformers
Development of the company or 10 years of production of instrument transformers in Bučovice
Before I mention the main milestones of the development of our company, I would like to express my thanks to all our business partners and friends of our company for their approach, willingness, endurance and reliable cooperation.
KPB INTRA was established in 1995. Since the very beginning, it was focused on production of high voltage instrument transformers. Successful execution of type tests of transformers of the types CTS 12 and CTS 25 in 1996 was one of the most important moments of the development of our company. Type tests of another product series of transformers VTS 12 and VTS 25 were passed successfully in later years. The production range of our company was extended by product series of external transformers in 1998. The main representative of this series is the VPT type, which became the best sold article not only in this country, but also in Poland after innovation in 2001. Development of a power transformer intended for Czech railways that has attracted interest of other customers is currently in process..
The need for other production premises increased together with growing demand. For that reason, the production premises of the former STS station in Bučovice were purchased in 2001 and the entire administration department was moved there. A new production hall intended for transformer casting is currently under construction. The hall should be completed in May of this year.
Cooperation with the Dutch company Mekufa BV represented another important aspect of the history of our company. This cooperation has resulted in joint establishment of the subsidiary company Mekufa CZ, which produces insulators and epoxy resin components using both vacuum and pressure technologies.
Our transformers have been approved by metrological institutes in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Germany and Latvia. The approving process is also currently taking place in Ukraine and Belarus. The share of export of the turnover of the company continues to grow. It reached 50 % in 2005. We plan to organize training sessions and specialized seminars focused on the theory of transformers, important parameters for proper operation in the power supply network, the connection procedure including indication of the most frequent errors and also the latest knowledge in the field of defects and their prevention for our customers in the newly reconstructed premises of the company this year. Our company has implemented ISO 9001:2000 successfully and is making preparations for ISO 14001 certification.
We will also participate in a record number of exhibitions this year. The first one of them is the AMPER trade fair in Prague, to which we invite you warmly. An exhibition in Hannover follows, then we continue in Budapest in May, in Plovdiv and in Bielsko-Biala in September, in Trenčín in October, and the Minsk trade fair in November is the last event that we will participate in this year. We hope that you will find the time to visit our stand so that we can inform you in detail about our company and our products.
